Just a few more days and it’s time to say goodbye to 2008. What a year it has been! America elected its first black president. The U.S. and other parts of the world experienced economic recession. Phelps wins eight gold medals at the Olympics, etc etc. From all angles, 2008 was a very eventful year.

It was no different in the world of health and wellness. The salmonella outbreak, the Bisphenol A controversy, vaccines, cholesterol drugs and Obama’s promise to push for health care reforms were among the news that grabbed the headlines.
